Tascam MP-BT1 Portable MP3 Bass Guitar Trainer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have owned this for over 3 months - it is awsome. Recieved as gift from wife. That and the leather case she bought with my name from ValetStand com. This is the first time ever I can just clip on my trainer and jam. The leather case is a must.

Seagull Deluxe Dreadnaught EPP Tric Acoustic Guitar Case w/ Cover Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This acoustic guitar case is very poorly designed. The case material itself is light weight and durable as advertised but there are no latches to hold the case closed. ...No latches at all.The only thing that holds it closed, and not very tightly, is a flimsy zipper on the external cover. I would expect it to break quickly under normal use. It seems like a really clumsy closure mechanism.
I personally can't bring myself to put an expensive guitar in it and tried to return it on the day that it arrived. Unfortunately, the shipping costs to return it, because it's "over-sized", are about $55.00.Add to that the $10.99 that the store already charged me for the original shipping and the economics of this purchasing decision become quite depressing. Now I'm stuck with something I don't like and don't want to use.
DO NOT buy it on-line.If you really want to consider one of these cases go to a music store that has one in stock and look it over very carefully. There are so many better and less expensive cases out there that no one should waste their time on this thing.

Product Description:
The portable nature of the acoustic guitar plays a big part in its popularity. Obviously, providing appropriate protection for your guitar when moving it, is an important consideration. Up until now, guitar players have been faced with the choice of either a gig bag or a hard shell case for the protection of their instrument. The light weight of gig bags makes them easy to carry but they don't offer much in the way of impact resistance. Hard shell cases, on the other hand, provide better impact protection but are much heavier and awkward to carry. What every guitar player really wants is a case that combines the lightweight and convenience of a gig bag with the impact protection of a hard shell case. Seagull has found the answer when they became aware of a high-tech material called Neopolen P expanded polypropylene (EPP). This same material is widely used in automotive applications that require impact energy management. So they designed a new case using this amazing new material. The Fort Tric EPP case has redefined guitar protection and now you can enjoy the convenience of a lightweight case-at 2 ? lbs this case is a mere ? lb heavier than a gig bag-with impact resistance beyond that of the average hard shell case.

Korg PX4D Pandora Personal Multi Effects Processor Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The Korg PX4D is a great little multi-effects processor for any guitarist or bass player!I bought mine to use when travelling mated to my Lapstick guitar. I spend hours on this thing and never tire of finding new ways to use it and new sounds for inspiration. It has a tuner, amp modeling, 100 user and 100 preset effects...and tons of great features I haven't even discovered yet.

I'd recommend this device for any guitarist...for practice or performance use. It's like a whole truck load of effects and amps/cabinets in a box the size of a pack of cigarettes.

Oscar Schmidt OE30 Electric Jazz Guitar Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This was an absolutely gorgeous guitar with a great sound, look, and feel. The only thing I wish could have been different about it was that it was a full hollow-body.That would have given it a a much richer sound that you could enjoy unplugged. The fit and finish was perfect and the knob were sturdy.I do wished they were marked some kind of way.It took a little experimenting to figure out exactly what each knob controlled.

First Act 222 Designer Electric Guitar Pack - White (AL222) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Let me first start by saying I previously owned a $500 Harmony guitar, which was a beautifully designed guitar with great style and sound.

With that in mind, I was looking for an affordable way for me to get back into guitar playing and casually recording, after about 7 years of not playing.I was hesitant to purchase a "cheapy guitar," as I've been quite snobby about the $500 and up brands, but I have a family now and I am in a limited income to afford such splurges.

This guitar easily blew me away. This is not a cheap imitation of a Fender or a Gibson. It has a very distinctive tone, which I am amazed at.For this price, you won't beat the quality of guitar you're getting.I can't lie and say it holds a candle to the expensive brands, but I can say this guitar is a dark horse in the competitive guitar market, and it has a quality and sound unequaled by other beginning guitars. It has an absolutely brilliant and bright tone.I am pleasantly surprised, and I look forward to playing this guitar for some time to come.

As far as the cons? The guitar itself is very hardy, and sounds wonderful. However, the amp leaves much to be desired. With the tone and gain turned all the way down, the sound is great. However, just one notch either way and it sounds like a malfunctioning loudspeaker at Jack in the Box.

Also, the guitar strap isn't the most comfortable and doesn't latch well to the knobs. This is a cheap replacement, though. The audio cord is very cheaply made, as well, and is quite flimsy.I wouldn't doubt it gets static very soon.It does do it's job, however.I just doubt it will have a long life.

Overall, this is a great guitar, a great value, and I recommend it for the beginner or the casual player, excusing the flaws of it's accessories.
