The body fell solded the neck is smooth with good action, Iam very pleased with the hold pak amp, turner, DVD and the strap will not let your axe slip away from your shouder for the money you can't go wrong.

If I were giving advice, I would say buy a guitar and accessories separately, unless you are a novice and just want to try playing. Everyone who has seen or played this guitar really likes it.

(More customer reviews)I was really skeptical of this guitar since it was so cheap and I wouldn't be able to actually play it before buying. I played a couple of other Jasmine guitars at a local shop after I ordered it and they sounded bad, so I got worried that I had made a mistake. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound of this guitar!!! However, I was disappointed by the quality of the frets! They are so sharp that they literally cut my fingers just by rubbing my hand down the neck. My buddy is a professional musician so I asked him to check it out and he cut his fingers just by playing it. The company definitely could have used some quality control... I am having a luthier fix it and hopefully it wont cost me as much as an upgraded guitar would when he's done. Over all I am very pleased and am just bummed out that I can't play it for a couple more days.

Yamaha CGS103A 3/4-Size Classical Guitar, Natural Review

(More customer reviews)I teach classical guitar and one of my daughters is now old enough (8 yrs. old)for a larger instrument but a full-sized guitar is still too big.I took a chance on buying this guitar sight-unseen but I have pleasantly surprised.It only arrived yesterday, but since I teach guitar it doesn't take me a long time to assess the quality of an instrument.It's not perfect, but is acceptable.

It came well-packed - the guitar itself is wrapped in a soft plastic wrap, then boxed, and then that box is inside another box.I could find no damage due to shipping and it arrived about one week before Christmas.The finish on the guitar is shiny lacquer, the machine tuning pegs work well, the action seemed to be just right at the frets near the body of the guitar, the construction seems solid, but what surprised me the most after I tuned it up was the voice it had.For a little, brand-new, inexpensive guitar it had quite a nice loud voice.And hopefully it will only get better with age.

So far I have found only 2 things that could be improved:The bass strings (E,A,D) buzz slightly when fretted on the lower frets near the head of the guitar if not fretted close to the leading fret (only teachers and experienced guitarists will probably know what I'm talking about).I think it's just because of the cheap strings that it came with or possibly the nut may need to be a tiny bit higher, but I'm not very concerned because I think that with a good set of quality strings this problem will resolve itself.And if it doesn't I'm still o.k. with it because the buzz is very slight and I tend to listen acutely for any unusual sounds.The only other thing I was not thrilled with and it's only cosmetic and has no effect whatsoever on the playability of the instrument is that the bridge came unfinished.It's stained a nice wood color, but was glued onto the soundboard with no lacquer or finish.I may polish it later or just let it be the way it is.I am a bit concerned that if the guitar gets wet this strip of wood has no protection and will absorb the water and possibly warp.I'll have to keep an eye on it.

My daughter has not seen the guitar yet - it's actually her birthday present which is a few days after Christmas.But I looked it over quite closely yesterday, wiped it down with a clean cloth, tuned it up and played it rather aggressively to hear exactly what it would do.I think it's a very good buy and I will recommend this little guy to anyone who needs a smaller sized guitar.I expect my daughter to study using this instrument until she's around 12 years old.Again, it's voice was very good especially for a guitar this size and price.It is not a toy but a real musical instrument to be taken seriously.If you have a child roughly between the ages of 7 and 11, then this will likely be the right sized guitar.

**And just a note for those who might not know:This guitar is a NYLON string guitar.If you are looking for a steel-string guitar this guitar is not one.And never, ever put steel strings on a nylon string guitar or you will ruin it due to excessive tension.They are only built to withstand the tension from nylon strings.:o)

I originally gave this guitar 4 stars but have since upgraded it to 5.I am simply amazed with this little instrument!The tone it has is unbelievably beautiful and it has a lot of volume.I am extremely pleased with this guitar.The buzz it originally had have completely disappeared and it just a wonderful guitar.My daughter has been learning at a phenomenal pace on this instrument and I have played it quite a lot myself just because it is such a nice instrument.I may have just gotten extremely lucky with this particular instrument - sometimes that happens.Other guitars like this one may be grossly inferior but I doubt that will happen.This has been the best money well-spent on a guitar I've bought in a long time!

(More customer reviews)I bought one of these for my girlfriend's son for Xmas a couple years ago. After getting it home and doing a set-up on it, I was so blown away by what a great deal it is, that I've since bought two more Bullets for myself, a surf-green one and a cream-white one.

On some Bullets the fret ends can be a little sharp and need to be sanded or filed down. And all Bullets will need a set-up (adjust the truss rod, set the action, etc). But after that, for a little more than $100, you will have a very good guitar in your hands. If you don't believe me, you can watch videos on youtube that I have posted of me playing stock, unmodified Bullets. Other people have posted videos as well. Just do a youtube search for Squier Bullet.

Saga LC-10 LP Style Electric Guitar Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased the Saga LC-10 LP guitar kit as a gift for my 11 year old son who expressed an interest in playing the guitar. After investigating the el cheapo guitar/amplifier combo packs I made the decision to purchase the Saga kit to hopefully provide something more robust than the low end guitars, and more importantly to teach my son all about the inner workings of a guitar.

This kit includes everything you need to start playing a guitar except for the amplifier. The downside is that the rats nest wiring harness which although easy to use provides lots of opportunities to generate electrical noise/buzz when connected to an amplifier. After doing some research I decided to start from scratch and upgrade the internal wiring, potentiometers, capacitors, and switches. I also purchased copper shielding which I installed in all of the cutouts and then grounded everything together. Although this effort added another $75-100 to the cost of the guitar it also made it much more enjoyable. I can crank the amplifier to the maximum and there is no buzzing or other noise from the guitar.

If you plan to add a colored lacquer finish as I did it will take several weeks before the guitar is ready to play because you need to allow the finish to dry between coats. If you are anxious to play you might want to consider a ready to go guitar.

Since I had no prior guitar experience I had to rely heavily on the many web resources dedicated to the building and setup of guitars. I even found one web site that had a much better set of instructions for building and more importantly setting up the guitar. In the end the information I gathered allowed me to use the basic Saga parts to build a guitar that is very functional, sounds and looks great, and gets lots of compliments from everybody who sees and hears it. My son is now happily making a lot of progress learning how to play the guitar using the books I ordered from Amazon.

The strings are very good.No tinny sound or buzzing.It has such a sweet sound.The amp is sooooo awsome!!We only had to put the volume to "1".It really cranks.I know my grandson will be amazed at this guitar and I am sure it will last for many many years.
I'm thinking of purchasing another of these Epiphone packs for myself.

(More customer reviews)I picked up one of these babies about 6 months ago to use as my "travel" guitar, and it has yet to let me down.Granted, the day I got it, I changed out the pickups with a DiMarzio Double Whammy in the bridge and a Virtual PAF in the neck, so I can't tell you much about the sound from the factory electronics.However, the guitar plays wonderfully.The only irritant was that, in order to get perfect intonation in Eb tuning (one half-step below standard tuning on all six strings), I had to reverse one of the saddles.

Otherwise, no complaints whatsoever -- it came from the factory with the truss perfectly set, and it only took minor tweaks to the action and a slight shim for the neck (I'm obsessive when it comes to fast action on my guitars), and I was shredding away in no time.This is an excellent guitar for a beginner, or, if you're a more advanced player in search of some vintage looks on a budget, this is right up your alley.Get a new set of pickups -- EMGs, Seymour Duncans, or DiMarzios will work great -- and you've got looks AND tone.Just don't expect that solid mahogany-body sustain you'd get from a real LP -- this one's plywood.Agathis.Tonewood.Whatever Epiphone's buzzword of the week happens to be.

Bottom line: for $150, you can't go wrong with this guitar.Out of all the guitars I own, I keep coming back to this one.Of course, unlike your average Jackson or B.C. Rich, the Les Paul body design doesn't have any pointy things to dig into one's crotch... That might have a bit to do with it as well.Are you still reading this? Just buy it already!

Double-Waxed Pickups
Epiphone utilizes a double vacuum waxing process that ensures optimum performance. After the cover is placed on, it is again given a second vacuum wax bath until the unit is completely saturated with wax.

I was pleasantly surprised when i plugged it in 2 my amp(it's a crappy amp and the Les Paul sounded way better than my Strat!). It's easy 2 move your fingers, sounds great, looks great and makes it so ur cables never fall out. my one complaint is there's only 1 tone and 1 volume, but it still has that Les Paul sound! It sounds great dirty and clean and is great for rockin out!!
LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was looking for a travel size guitar to kick around with and this little guitar was just what I was looking for.
I'm in no way an expert but the sound is just incredible and the guitar itself is stunning to look at. I have shopped for many 3/4 size guitars and this one is definitely the one you want to buy.
The neck is tapered near the top and is very similar to my ovation just smaller. Kids, students and anyone with small hands would do well with this instrument.
The action was perfect right out of the box and just in case, it does have an adjustable truss rod. My guitar teacher has always said this is a key feature for any acoustic guitar. (make sure you let a professional adjust it if you need it down the road)
I cant imagine anyone being disappointed with this guitar and if you read a bit about the history of Oscar Schmidt I think you will be impressed.
Treat yourself- buy this guitar!
