You can sing along with the songs already programmed into the guitar. The guitar itself is pretty much indestructible. A very important thing to be with 3 year olds. I was a little disappointed when I was playing with it, the volume on it did not appear to work, but the boy's mom didn't seem to mind. So it makes for lots of good noise and good fun! The Wiggles Singing Guitar goes everywhere that the boy goes!
