I've played alot of different basses. Violin style, Fenders', Gibson's, Ibanez. I bought the Rogue for a fretless to give it a try. I was surprised at the quality of the sound and tone. I found it fun to play and I was able to experience new sounds with no frets. I had a light hum on a volume pot when I turned it up, but that's easy to fix. The nut for the plug-in socket needs to be checked for looseness, again real easy to fix. I play this bass most of the time now. It is fun and easy playing. LC
