Dunlop 535Q Multi-Wah Crybaby Pedal Review

Dunlop 535Q Multi-Wah Crybaby Pedal

The ability to quickly change the range and sensitivity has made it easy to dial in the exact sound you want to hear. It's built like a tank and has worked flawlessly in the time I've had it. Since I normally power it with a wall wart, I don't have much of an opinion about battery life.

Bottom Line: It costs a bit more than the standard Dunlop wah pedals, it's worth it.

Adjust the sharpness, volume and tonal range of your wah sound.
Wah Range Selector
The Wah Range Selector knob is located on the side of the 535Q pedal. It allows you to select a tonal range that is best suited for your expression needs. Turn the knob clockwise for the lower register ranges and counter-clockwise for the higher ranges.
Volume Control
By turning the Volume Control knob located on the left side of the pedal, you control the amount of gain. Turning the knob clockwise will increase your gain to up to 16dB. Turning the knob counter-clockwise will decrease your gain to 0dB, or normal throughput.
Variable Q
The "Q" adjustment is also located on the left side of the pedal; you can control the sharpness of the bandpass with this adjustment. High Q is a very selective bandpass filter, low Q is a very broad bandpass filter approaching an almost volume-like control. The lower Q settings have more musical quality and don't effect tone as much as the high Q settings.
Solid Construction
The CRYBABY 535Q features a heavy, die-cast construction, for a road-ready wah pedal that'll provide years of reliability.
Powering Options
Power the CRYBABY with a 9-volt battery, or grab an optional Dunlop ECB-003 AC Adapter for powering via outlet.
One-Year Warranty
Dunlop provides extra peace of mind by offering a one-year warranty from date of purchase.

Electro-Harmonix Worm XO Analog Wah Phaser Vibrato Tremolo Review

Electro-Harmonix Worm XO Analog Wah Phaser Vibrato Tremolo
Average Reviews:

First off, the sounds that come from this pedal are really good....5 stars for the sound quality and build quality. It is built like a tank.

Minus 1/2 star for the very loud switch....when you press the button it makes a very loud click sound which can be annoying in quiet settings. I have read that you can replace the switch with a quieter one, but why doesn't it just come with a quieter one to begin with? Or how about offering an option of a "quiet switch" for those who play in smaller venues/quieter environments?

Minus 1/2 star for requiring a separate power adapter. If you use a pedal board it can be a hassle to have many different power adapters with wires and such coming out of the board.....this one requires its own power and can't be powered by the standard multi-adapters used with pedal boards.

Overall I would recommend this pedal - it sounds great, is built great, and provides a wide variety of sound processing all in one pedal....very nice.

DigiTech Whammy Pedal Re-issue with MIDI Control Review

DigiTech Whammy Pedal Re-issue with MIDI Control

I rarely write reviews on anything and the only reason why I am writing this is because I feel the need to give recognition for all this pedal has brought me. I would refuse to play guitar without it, its that simple. you can pretty much create any sound you want and i would consider the whammy pedal just as important as my guitar. its easy to use, and extremely worth it, dont second guess here, put up the money trust me its worth it. Ive been playing with it for over a year now and even if all I had was $200 to my name, id still spend every last penny on this pedal.

The DigiTech Whammy is the upgraded reincarnation of one of DigiTech's most popular pedals. It's been almost a decade since DigiTech introduced the revolutionary, original WH-1 Whammy pedal.
