I'm new to playing electric guitar, but I'm a big fan of surf music. Naturally, after I got a few lessons under my belt, I wanted to try my own hand at playing it. Step one - get some reverb! (Actually, step one is "learn how to play", but I am still working on that.)

I listened to a lot of online demos and eventually settled on a certain pedal which shall remain nameless. I was very disappointed and sent it back within a few days. I then did some more research and came across this unit (thanks, surfguitar101.com). The Digitech Reverb unit is great, but this Hardwire version takes it up a few notches. I fell in love right away! Not only does it do as much twangy spring reverb as you'd ever want (and then some), it has a wide variety of reverb styles that all sound fantastic.

The construction quality is also top-notch. A very solid (heavy!) pedal which exudes robustness and durability.

I highly recommend this pedal to anyone who wants a great all-around reverb pedal that can handle anything you throw at it.
