I asked around and my sons friend recommended Austin Bazaar he said they have some solid and cheap starter packs with amp so I wouldn't have to buy all the extras and you can find out if she is going to like playing first. Needless to say she loves it and it has a great sound too. A friend of hers who has been playing for awhile tuned it for her and didn't want to give it back he said the sound was good and it was solid I recommend this to any parent with a child who wants to try but is not sure they are going to keep playing. The amp is great she plugs in the headset and I don't hear her playing over the tv or my radio
