(More customer reviews)Although I love this cabinet for its price tag and its excellent construction, the speaker is a bit harsh sounding. I understand that part of this has to do with the cab being closed, but I wish it sounded a bit sweeter, and I know it could with the right speaker. That said, for the price, you can't complain, since you can afford a speaker swap with all the money you save on the cab. One more thing, this cabinet is pretty much the exact same size as the Epiphone Valve Junior Extension Cabinet, 1x12, the Epiphone might be a couple millimeters larger. That's great because both are inexpensive (but well made) 16-ohm cabs loaded with Eminence speakers, but the Epiphone is an open cabinet. They can form a mini stack or sit side by side and play nice with each other. As for how they sound, I think the Epiphone sounds better with the stock speaker, but find that the construction of the Blackheart is superior, so it would make a great choice for speaker upgrades.
