(More customer reviews)The EMG 81. That says it all. If you are looking to get the absolute most out of your guitar you must put an EMG 81 in the bridge position. There is no better pickup for high gain and lead playing. It is articulate and crisp while being incredibly loud. I prefer installing mine with a volume control and that it is. That is the best way to get the most out of the beast. There are other options on the market such as the Seymour Duncan Blackouts. Doesn't it say a lot about this pickup that a company as large and successful as Seymour Duncan has had to copy the EMG active line to be able to compete? Don't go with the follower. Get real EMG pickups. You will not regret it. Five stars.
